| Pooja Blood Bank Launches Blood Donor Database |
| The appropriate use of latest technologies by Pooja Blood Bank was lauded by The British Medical Journal. [BMJ VOLUME 328 3APRIL 2004]. They are, now, expanding their "Blood Donor Database" and appeal to all blood donors who use cell-phones to enroll themselves. Please send your full name, Blood Group (with Rh factor) and the date of your last blood donation. Those who do not know their blood groups or their eligibility to donate blood will be screened, medically examined and tested for blood group and haemoglobin estimation free of cost. Those desirous of enlisting themselves should visit the blood bank between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. on any working day. They have introduced new software that will recall all eligible blood donors of any blood group and send SMS request to donate blood to selected few of them within minutes. This will greatly enhance the availability of blood in emergency situations. Do you wish to be of some help to your fellow human beings? Are you between 18 and 60 years age group? Are you otherwise healthy? JOIN OUR Voluntary Blood Donors' Database Send the following information to us: YOU DO NOT KNOW YOUR BLOOD GROUP? LET US BE PREPARED TO FACE ANY DISASTERS! |

We treat every Blood Donor as "The most important person". Ever voluntary Blood Donor is given a "Donor Card" that entitles him/her to many benefits. The various social organisations which have held "Blood Donation Camps' for Pooja Blood Bank include St.Pius Church Youth Club, The Kutch Deshisyasaraswat Brahamin Mahasthan, Chinmaya Mission (All of Mulund) and Social Service Society of Dombivali. |
